Development Camp: tentative date for camp#2
A big thank you to Codiac Vikings Aquatic Club and Western Valley Swim Team clubs for hosting 2 development camps on February 4th in Sackville and Woodstock. The devo camp for the northern region is set for this Sunday, February 12 in Shippagan. The tentative date for the 2nd development camp is May 6, 2023. We ask that clubs interested in hosting these camps submit the form below to info@swimnb.ca before March 31, 2023.

LC Training session – February 2023
4 clubs and 72 swimmers signed up for the Long course training session on 12 February. The next session is on February 26th. Sign up by February 20th at 11am on this link :
Coaching 101 Clinic
Swim NB is hosting a 101 clinic in partnership with Coach NB on March 18-19, 2023 in Moncton. The clinic will be facilitated by Melanie Melanson. The registration fee is $300 and the first 10 registrations to the clinic will be paid by Coach NB! Sign up now at https://www.swimnb.ca/12038-2/
Please note that coaches must:
– Be at least 16 years old to register.
– Complete the online Pre-Course Manual for Swimming 101 prior to the course (currently unavailable – link will be provided as soon as it is available).
– Attend the entire course to receive credit.
Swimming NB will contact registrants with more information prior to the clinic.
Community Services Recovery Fund
The community Services Recovery Fund is currently accepting applications for funding. We encourage all clubs to submit their application before 21 February 2023 to receive a potential $10,000 fund. All information can be found here:

Student Employment Experience Development
The 2023 Student Employment Experience Development (SEED) employer applications will be open from January 9th until February 17th, 2023. Employers can apply for SEED funding and obtain all information about the program online at the following address: www.NBSEED.ca .
Aquatics Feasibility Study – City of Moncton
The City of Moncton has been preparing a Feasibility Study for Aquatic Facilities in the region and released their public consultation survey calling on members of the community to provide their feedback on the need for aquatic facilities. As the news of pools and the infrastructure improvement in any part of our province is good news for our sport, we invite you to fill and share the following survey with your members. Thanks!
