NB Officials committee meeting
The NB Officials committee (NBOC) propose a in-person Referee and Meet Manager Clinic / NBOC meeting on Saturday September 16th in Miramichi.
The NBOC meeting: We would like to see at least one rep from each club By our terms of reference, each club representative has one vote, as does all active officials who have completed the Referee Questionnaire, so all Club Representatives, Level 4, Level 5, active Level 3 who have passed Referee Clinic. We need senior officials to think about letting their name stand for taking on the role of Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary Registrar please contact Gary Loser glosier@quispamsis.ca if you are interested in any of these roles or if you currently have a role and are no longer interested.
The referee clinic is eligible for officials who have completed and have successful evaluations for the majority of Level 2 clinics.
The meet manager clinic is eligible for anyone taking the level 2 pathway and want to manage meets for their clubs. Of course, we also encourage all senior officials to attend to share knowledge, refresh their own knowledge or just to enjoy some camaraderie. Please let Gary know if you feel this works for you or your club, and once we have location and more details we will share that information with everyone.
Swim NB does pay mileage for the NBOC for a club rep so you can take the opportunity to carpool and save gas.
Thank you,
Swim NB Team
